This CBPR Project Aims

The specific aims of the CBPR Year One (2006) process pilot starting included:

  1.  study the conditions and characteristics of participation and partnership CBPR processes
  2. to develop a CBPR logic model which incorporated these characteristics
  3. to propose a study of how these processes (with which characteristics and under which contexts and conditions) might impact outcomes at multiple levels
The key questions were: what is the added value of CBPR to community research paradigms; is there a typology or continuum of CBPR research; and how do we measure the added value within different types of CBPR?
